When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:
You should not use this medicine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to papaverine.

How to Use This Medicine:
Long Acting Capsule

  • Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed.

Warnings While Using This Medicine:

  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
  • Make sure your doctor knows if you have liver or kidney disease, heart disease, or glaucoma.
  • Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results.

Possible Side Effects While Using This Medicine:
Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:

  • Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
  • Chest pain.
  • Skin or whites of your eyes turn yellow.
  • Skin rash, or blisters.
  • Stomach pain.
  • Unusual bruising or bleeding.

If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:

  • Appetite loss, nausea, or vomiting.
  • Diarrhea or constipation.
  • Dizziness, drowsiness, or light-headedness.
  • Facial flushing (redness), or sweating.
  • Headache.

If you notice other side effects that you think are caused by this medicine, tell your doctor.
